Copaxone injection in my right arm

I have been on Copaxone since April of 2005 and really have had no problems except for the daily "ouch" and the redness afterthe shot. Howvere in the last 3 weeks when i eject into my right arm i feel like i am hitting a nerve or something and have to pull the needle out. It is weird because my elbow is now numbm but not numb like when you have a MS flare up. It feels like my elbow falls asleep and has those "pins" in it. What is really wierd is where i inject does not hurt. As anyone had this problem before? Tried calling my Neuro but can not get in very soon.
Thank you

" I am taking Rebif... but don't all the CRAB drugs have an 800 number where you can call and talk to a nurse? You should check with them since you can't get into see your neuro soon. "

if it were me i would give that arm a break for a couple of weeks. it sounds like you're going too deep . i did that once on my arm.i hit muscle. after it's had a rest then try backing off on the depth "

" I dont use the autoject for copaxone, and once or twice in the 3 weeks I have been on it, I wonder if I went "too deep" my worst one so far was in my leg last week, I got a nasty lump, and it hurt pretty bad. "

" I called shared solutions once with a question, and I think it is ridiculous, that if it isn't an emergency, you have to leave a message, and they will call you the next day or so. "

" Ican't use the autoject as I am currently on half doses(10mg) but find it is very cumbersome to use anyway. I get lumps sometimes from the copaxone~especially in my legs. But also had my rt. arm bleed last week~really bleed!
BTW: Everytime I've called S.S. I get right through to a nurse. It is only at night and weelends that you leave a message. "

" I had a very similar experience the last two weeks. Coincidentally, I have a neuro appt today and will ask. Last week it hurt so bad I could hardly move my arm for several hours - aching and pain all the way down my forearm into my pinky finger. Today, the same thing started to happen and I hadn't even started to press the plunger on the syringe so I stopped and used the other side of my abdomen instead. Really painful and this has never happened in the 6+ years I've been on Copaxone! "
