sorry, forgot to make it clear - the next set of words can begin with either the first or last letter of second word - hence in on'off the next set needs to begin with either an 'o' or 'f'.

I guess we can change the rules - they're not set in stone. But if you put down 'go' or 'stay' then it's the first letter of the last word, which is 's' or the last letter of the last word, which is 'y'. But it doesn't matter really, whatever people are comfortable with.
