April, I'm one ahead of you. My cognitive thinking has gotten better. I am able to stand - been 3 years since I did that - & can even walk some. Been wheelchair since 1996 most of the time.
My neuro says I am not supposed to be getting better just not getting worse. I'll take whatever I can get.

Ive had 14 infusions myself and havent had a flare in a couple of years now. BTW its called Tysabri not Tysambri

It hasnt been on the market long so they really sont know yet seona.
kelly that's great. the nurse who gives me my infusion every month tols me about a lady who comes in and is walking now, she also has been in a wheelchair for several years. hugs

My doctor wants me to consider going on this medication also. I read that one of the side effects was depression. I can't take any of the interferons because they do bring on the depression for me. Has anyone had any experienced this side effect?

i'm about to get my 2nd infusion on Wednesday, but I'm experiencing worsening of symptoms and deep depression. I'll have to call my doc and see if she thinks its Tysabri related or something different. Other than that... no problems.

Depression runs in my family. I have been on antidepressants for ever.
So far I have not had depression problems on Tysabri.
