" Thanks, Does LDN have to be prescribed by a Neuro or just a GP? How long have you been on it for and is there any side effects. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks very much "

" the tinyurl is the thread here on LDN, links to my story, the main site, and other sites are in it. any doc can prescribe it, been on it since 2003, my hair & nails grow twice as fast as they used to before, and my legs may be a bit stiffer in cold than they used to be

for someone in their 20s it should work great "

" Well, with the bladder problems, I've found that if you lay off the soft drinks, it helps. And, you have to empty your bladder more often, just in case. I haven't figured out how to help with the bowel problem yet. :( "

" I have both bladder and bowel dysfunction! It SUCKS! I started going to a Urologist, and he put me on VesiCare. So far I take it at night, and I'm down to getting up only twice to pee (sorry to be blunt) from about 10 times/night. The daytime still isn't good, so I'm hoping he adjusts it at my next appt. I'm hoping the bowel problem gets better once the bladder gets better, but so far no! If anyone has any suggestions for that, PLEASE let me know! Hang in there! There are meds that do help with the bladder! "

" HI-I HAVE FOUND THAT NOT USING CAFFEINE AND EMPTYING MY BLADDER MORE OFTEN HELPS. WITH THE BOWELS, AS SOON AS I SENSE A MOVEMENT I'M IN THE BATHROOM. "
