Hi Everyone!

I'm newly diagnosed with MS, but also have been battling a "mystery" arthritis. It came on all of a sudden about a year ago (way before I was diagnosed. After reading a lot of your entries, and information, I was just curious about something. I know MS is an autoimmune disease, and it seems like many people not only have MS, but also other AI diseases (like arthritis, diabetes, etc.).

I have been going through sooooo many tests the last 4 years, and getting "we don't know what's wrong with you". I FINALLY get the dreaded diagnosis of MS, now I'm going through the same thing with this arthritis. It came on all of a sudden last summer, and all my test (including bone scans) have been negative.

I know arthritis is not a symptom of MS, but they both are AIs. I'm just trying to figure out if anyone else has other AIs with their MS. I'm just trying to justify this in my head!

I appreciate your comments!!
Debbie
