natural doctor?

I was wondering if any of you have ever tried going to a natural path doctor?? My mom is big on the natural treatments and has been talking to me about going to one. I'm really starting to think about it. Especially because EVERY doctor I've been to can't find a solution to my problems....maybe this would be a good idea for me? I was just wondering if anyone has actually tried going to one and how their experience went??

" HI ALICIA-I WAS ON AVONEX FOR 4 YEARS AND GOT WORSE SO I QUIT TAKING IT A YEAR AGO. NOW I'M SEEING A CHIROPRACTOR WHO SPECIALIZES IN CRANIOSACRAL, MIND/BODY ENERGY WORK. I ALSO BELIEVE WE CAN HEAL OUR BODIES WITH POSITIVE THINKING, EXERCISE, YOGA, PROPER DIET, ETC. ANYWAY, I FEEL BETTER THAN IF I WERE PUTTING CHEMICALS INTO MY BODY. TO ME, THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. "

" I didn't mean to sound overly negative about natural therapies, as that is my current approach and has been the most successful for me. I have mostly needed to do my own research though. A Naturopath I went to helped me along, but I thought that going from minimal supplementation to an extensive schedule made me feel like I didn't know what was helping me and what wasn't.... and the cost was more than I could handle. The second one was much better about that, but was too far away (and again to expensive) for me to continue. Now I have a healthy lifestyle that works for me, but I never stop searching as I am not symptom-free yet. "

" Just to add....Upper cervical chiropractic care has been the most helpful thing for me so far. Change in diet to avoid food sensitivities and allergies has significantly reduced my symptoms, but I was still having flare-ups. I haven't had a significant flare-up since November and I started my specialized chiro. in December. Time will tell the long-term results. If I don't get the success I am looking for, I am open to LDN....the CRAB drugs were not a good option for me. "

" I've spent years developing a wide array of alternitives to
keep my MS in remission. The only drug I'm now taking is LDN
and I think it has helped my energy. "
