" Personally I would higher a Lawyer to go over the paper work and the legalities before I sign any paper's. To many have been taken advantage of. "

" Have you lost your earnest money?? Try any source that is currently involved in the loan/ listing agent, selling agent. You could dispute that prior to getting the pre approval you disclosed all information and the money that you put down was in trust of the loan officer that has her head up her butt. The listing/selling agent typically have someone that they work with that is in the loan business, they will typically have someone that are their go to people for less than perfect credit. Ask how many points they charge, try to get them under 2 perferrably 1 point, ask for a good faith estimate so that you know what to expect when you sign your loan docs. Where are you at, I know people in California who do loans but they are solely in CA. Your current lender should have provided a good faith estimate to you, if not make sure that she does...let her know that you are losing faith in her abilities, especially if she doesn't return your calls. I can't tell you what is going on, I don't know enough about processing a loan. How long is your lock? How long is your escrow? Do you have to pay per diem if your escrow goes over the days you said you'd close by?

Good luck...this is a very stressful time in anyones life, even if every thing goes smooth...try to relax ask lots of questions and try to get as involved as you can be. "
