Friendly Financial Services??

They called today and for 1799.00; they say the can keep me out of foreclosure, re-finance my mortgage and get me a forbearance on the 3 months I am behind.

You've got to pay them 25% up front..... you know what they say when it's too good to be true.

I'm skeptical but desperate...

" yeah sounds like a scam ..anything over the phone is a scam. I have a scam calling me for lower interest rate on my credit card. They say I've been paying my card for 6mths straight and in good standing .. I asked them hwo did they get my name. They told me from my visa credit card .. I told them that's strange since I don't have a credit card ..they hung up on me. Don't fall into their "great deal" offers ..they looking to take the restof your hard money!!! "

" Hello BrocksMom,

Anyone who is asking for money up-front to "help" a distressed homeowner is probably a scam. There are several options to foreclosure, and they are all available to you without the need of a third party that takes some of the money you already don't have.

The only company that can offer you a forbearance is your lender. A forbearance may be offered by the lender if your reason for falling behind was a temporary situation. You will be expected to make up the missing payments on a schedule set by the lender.

Scam artists like the one described in your post prey on the depseration of people like us in foreclosure. We are so desperate, we are willing to try anything to save the home we love. This is likely not the last scam that will come your way. Once your property goes into default it becomes public record, which unleashes a flurry of slick offers and marketing materials from opportunists that do not have your best interest in mind.

Best Wishes,

Mike

" You can call your Mortgage Company, and they should be able to help you out...work out a plan.

They will look into a forbearance for you, refinancing your mortgage and put arrearages at the back of the loan.

Stay away from those companies. You can do it yourself...Chase was willing to work with me, but you have to initiate the call, and keep up on it.

Good Luck "

" Hello Everyone,

I am writing this on behalf of Friendly Financial Services and I wanted to let everyone know that we are a real company that offers real services to our clients that are in foreclosure; we are not a scam.

We have had several successful stories and have helped countless clients out of foreclosure and provided them with affordable mortgage payment plans and lower interest rates. Yes, some of you probably could do the modifications yourselves; however most of you don’t have the time.

If you would like to speak to our clients directly, we would be very happy
to give you their information and you can contact them.

In the future please don’t just come to conclusions and label legitimate companies as a scam, that is not right.

If you have any question you can contact me, the office manager at 866-386-2444 ext 329. "
