it has been nearly 3 years since i caught mono, but my immune system is still feeling the effects. i catch everything. does anyone else get this? does it ever go away?

Hi! Since I had mono so long I have been diligent in building my immune system up. I take two supplements made by NatureSunshine recommended to me by and herbalist. They aren't cheap but when I started them I turned the corner and four months later the virus was gone. I still take the supplements but not in the same quantity I did when the virus was active. I walk every day and am trying to build up my stamina. I had mono for 1 1/2 yrs. WAY too long!

I had mono when I was 21 yo. I remember it took me a couple of months to feel close to well again.
In general I was OK until Jan 2004 when I tested posative to Barmah Forrest Virus. I now test posative to EBV every blood test. Its like this BFV has retrigered EBV. My glands are massive. I was Dx'd with CFS and Fibro in Nov 2004. Quality sleep, periods of low stress, good hydration and good nutrition are essential for optimal immune system function.
