I'm 57. Had mono with jaundice/liver in early 20's. I have hypothyroidism for with I take meds but there are days that I can barely move & if I push myself, I get fibro.
Sometimes, I'm too tired to breathe! So, does mono return? Are there tests I should have other than thyroid levels? Posted on 07/14/08, 08:07 am |

I am 64 and just recovered after 1 1/2 years with mono. My dr. said is is rare that it will return. Sure hope not!! yes, you can have a blood test to determine if you have mono or not. Your doc can do one. Better check it out.

My white blood count has always been high & now I have high platelets & have to take an aspirin a day. As for the platelets, I seem to always have an infected gland somewhere. I will make sure I get tested. Love ~ Cathy
