I have never heard about that. I use Condylox Gel and ZymaDearm, a new product.

My 9 year old had canthardin treatment yesterday. So far it has been horrible. It has been quite painful for her. She says it burns and strings and itches. She cries when ever something touches or bumps the spots. She had trouble sleeping last night. The appearance of the blisters frighten her. I don't know what to do to make her more comfortable.

I wish we had chosen evisceration. She only had a few, and I think it would have been less painful in the long run. Prior to treatment, she actually popped one herself from scratching so much. I just cleaned it up and treated it like any other small cut, first-aid cream and a band-aid. It didn't bother her at all and healed up quickly.

Tried it 2 days ago on my 5yr old son who has a pretty bad case of MCV over both legs, both elbows and now his face. Now going on a yr of dealing with it. Finally decided to try it b/c summer is approaching & I dont want to keep him out of the pool. The 1st nite was awful as MD spilled some of it on his good skin causing a huge painful blister!! I felt bad for putting my son thru that. Dont know if it was the best thing to do. It is 2 soon to tell. He has many lesions and the medicine was only applied to a few of the larger ones. Im really frustrated with this whole thing. If you or anyone has any suggestions that work I would love to hear them. My MD basically says it has to run its course. He only treated because my son developed a secondary infection on some of the warts.

I had MC for the "first time" two years ago. Outbreaks are between my upper thigh/bikini area to about my belly button. Probably got it from a partner, although I'm not sure because I've had it on my face as well, and I work with children (maybe it was just autoinoculation? that's what I tell myself at least).

My old derm used to use cantharidin, worked well with little/no scarring and MC resolved in about 4 months completely.

Outbreaks come back about a month ago. Have had probably about 50 spots. I moved, so I could no longer go to the old derm. New derm made her PA treat me with freezing. HUGE scars resulted. I fear I will never wear a bathing suit again, should the MC ever resolve.

Started seeing a new derm today. The MD allowed her medical assistant to apply the cantharidine, which is the treatment I requested. I don't think she applied it correctly (didn't let it dry), because this time time, no blisters occurred. I do however, have painful open sores on a couple areas.

Have also tried Aldara with no results. Read too many scary things on the internet about neurological side effects anyway.

I am only 25 and fear I will never have relief, never have a boyfriend again, might get fired from work (too many doctor's appointments that I can't explain to anyone). Have become highly depressive.

I actually went with this treatment for my 10 year old daughter it really worked on her the first treatment removed all the Molluscum within a week the 2nd treatment for a few new ones took a little longer but eventually they also went away. right now she only has one new one. very happy with the beetle juice. ( no burning no scars)

I just went on BeetleJuice today, and It hurts so bad!

I need to know when can I shower though?

The NP was admnistering it when a nurse busted in the door (ridiculously embarrasing) and took my NP out. The NP just said. Wait 5 minutes until it's dry, then go home.

When can I shower? wash and do whatever?

I to feel like the lady above who said she doesnt feel she will ever have a partner.

I believe I got my molluscum from a razor, I don't know if that's possible, but I saw one come up as soon as I touched the razor to my skin.

I have had it for 6 months now. I just want them gone!
