I embarrass my kids

Just yesterday, my son (14) had a group of his friends over. They were talking about their my space accounts. Something was said and I responded that I don't have a my space. My sons friend said that I should make one. I told him I didn't know how. I said my son could help me make one. My son said no way, no mom's have my space and even if they did they wouldn't have any friends. I told him I knew two moms with a my space, so I would have at least two friends. My son said he wouldn't help me make one. It would be too embarrasing to have a mom with my space. He was quite surprised when his friends offered to help me make one, and not only that but they offered to be my friends. I haven't done it yet. But will look into it. May be another way to spread the mito message.

The idea of having a MySpace site that promotes awarness about Mito is an excellent idea. Let me know if you do it. (I know I will get started on mine tonight)

I have a myspace and have a few blogs about my daughters condition to spread awareness about carnitine deficency... I think it would be awesome if more people do it :)
