Storms and Their Purpose
Do you feel like you are in the middle of a storm in your life?
Have you been broken spiritually or physically?
If so, you are in a position to be a blessing to someone else going through trials.

was dx with celiac disease a few weeks ago. I really hope this is the root of all my health issues - weakness, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue. One month ago today I smoked my last cigarette ever!!!
I think stopping was a turning point for me in more than just stopping a habit. It was where I started to heal emotionally and mentally. Last night I went into the room where the main computer is (been using laptop) and booted it for the first time in a while. I went to the media player put on some of my favourite songs the first Everybody Hurts - REM, turned the stereo over to play it, turned it up really loud and had a concert and damn it felt good.

I have been doing what I have been trying to avoid doing. Thinking about my wife. I have shed tears again for the first time in days. Damn it, I hate this hollow sadness. I went clothes shop;ing yesterday. It was the weirdest thing doing it myself. Normally I am fairly practical when it comes to clothing. I have what I need and thats about it. It was good as a lot of shops were having big sales but I ended up buying all the clothes from one shop in the end which at the end of the day was just 4 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs track pants and a hooded top.

Well it's 6am and I am wide awake. I went to bed about 11 pm after having some beers down at the Club last night. After writing my 3 am journal entry. That morning I went for my walk got home and felt extremely tired. Even after all the sleep I had. So I thought I would lay down for a couple of hours and have a nap. I slept almost solidly until 4 am the next morning. 19 hours!!

I can not change it yet consume myself with trying to imagine if I could.
It does not determine how my life will be yet I let it engulf my actions and my thoughts which stop me from moving forward.
It has happened and I should take from it what I need, a little wiser and more confident.
