i was told to wait three months at least so my body's hormones could go back to normal but i've also been told if you were well into your third month or later in the pregnancy to wait six months. i waited the three months after the first time it happen but the second time we tried after the first month because you are more fertile right after a pregnancy. It took so long in between for us to get preg that i didn't want to wait that long again but god has a sense of humor and we are now 7 months past when we first started trying again and nothing has happend, but don't forget to let yourself have time to grieve. I found that because we didn't wait i was even more emotional and depressed when i have gotten neg test results or a period.I hope this helps and good luck with whatever u decide.

I was told to wait 3 months.Someone told me thats mostly for emotional reasons not physical.I'm no doctor so I dont know.I will just do what the doctor told me and wait the 3 months.I did hear that you are more fertile right after the m/c but I dont want to risk anything.

i was told to wait three months and we did. 2 years after my miscarriage i finally goy pregnant with my son.

My doctor told me to wait until after 2 cycles at least. She also said to wait until I was emotionally ready and wouldn't be stressed by another pregnancy.

My doc said that your body needs to go through three cycles. Remember that not only does your mind need to heal but so does your body. It has been through alot even if it was only for a few months so that is why they say wait. Be patient and treat your body right and you have a much better chance of having a healthy pregnancy. I miscarried on February 3rd and my doctor told me to wait two cycles before trying agian. When I went back in for my follow up appointment I told her that my husband and I had forgotten to use protection a couple of times so I was worried about getting pregnant and she told me not to worry about it. They just tell people that because the lining of your uterus isn't very strong yet and if you were to get pregnant it might not be able to support the pregnancy causing you to miscary again. Other wise there are no other problems associated with getting pregnant right away. She told me the way she looks at it is that if I was to get pregnant again it was meant to be. But I just got my period so I didn't get pregnant. I plan on trying next month.
