I'm just wondering if this is normal....
I had went to the hospital Sunday night,the 26th, & was told I would be miscarrying. I decided to pass it naturally. My body was still pretty inactive, just light spotting. Tuesday afternoon I started bleeding more, and by Tuesday night I was having severe cramping (contractions), and then passed everything, I believe, I was supposed to. It is now Thursday, and I seem to have stopped bleeding already and have 0 cramps or discomfort. I'm not due in for a follow-up until next Tuesday, the 4th. Does this seem normal to anyone? That does seem unusual, but I'm no doctor. I suggest you call your doctor and describe the problem. They could better tell you if you need to be seen before Tuesday.

I agree every person is different. I started lighlty spotting on Friday the 25th and by Sunday was bleeding pretty heavy, went to the ER was told I had a threatned miscarriage. Miscarried on Monday or early Tuesday went back to the doctor, they said I likley had already passed everything. I still had light bleeding till friday but that was it. It seemed to come and go quickly. I go back on the 11th for my follow up. Sorry for your loss. It has been a week and still feels so strange to me.

I actually spotted for 6 weeks after I had my first miscarriage. But it turned out it was because there was still tissue that remained and I needed to have a D&C anyway. So, maybe it's good that you stopped bleeding quickly. Maybe it means that it all passed completely.

After I passed mine, I bled for a week or so. I had minor cramps but that was it. I hated having blood drawn so much to make sure my numbers were down..

I only bled for a week and no pain or cramps so i think it might be normal but i would check with doc to be on the safe side.

I started bleeding and cramping the morning of Sunday August 26th and passed the baby early Monday 27th then on Thursday I passed some tissue. The bleeding stopped by Friday 31st. I am still having cramping and bloating and have been trying since Friday to reach the NP at my OB/GYN office.
