I'm just wondering if this is normal....
I had went to the hospital Sunday night,the 26th, & was told I would be miscarrying. I decided to pass it naturally. My body was still pretty inactive, just light spotting. Tuesday afternoon I started bleeding more, and by Tuesday night I was having severe cramping (contractions), and then passed everything, I believe, I was supposed to. It is now Thursday, and I seem to have stopped bleeding already and have 0 cramps or discomfort. I'm not due in for a follow-up until next Tuesday, the 4th. Does this seem normal to anyone? They told me I would be bleeding for week. It just seems to be over so quickly................... Posted on 08/30/07, 12:08 pm |

that sounds normal.Thats how it happened to me too.I cramped really bad the night before I passed everything.I passed it on a Sunday and by Tuesday the bleeding had stopped.

I started cramping and bleeding at about 10 AM on the 26th (and my breast no longer hurt). Around 2 AM on the 27th, I passed the fetus, but by 1:30 PM, my cervix was open but not fully dialated. The NP told me that once the fetus has passed, the bleeding should slow down. My cramps were actually worse on the 27th than on the 26th, actually they felt more like labor pain than cramps. It is now the 30th and I am barely spotting anymore.
