So I lost my son 2months ago at 23wks. I have yet to have a decent period. I've bleed more or less for almost three weeks, though most days its more like spotting. Sorry if gross but its not old blood its bright red. Now some days like yesterday did bleed at all, and now today i'm bleeding again. Am I alone in this, or is this normal? Thanks

" I understand how you feel - I've also had issues with my AF, although mine is that I've only had 2 in 6 months. I just spoke with my doc today - she said they "usually" regulate after 6 months but can sometimes take longer as your hormones return to normal. She wants me to give it another month, then come it for an appt. In the meantime, she told me not to worry - easier said than done! "

" I agree its totally easier said than done. I told my husband if things stay this way we should buy stock in pads since were buying them all the time. UGH! Just want things to straigten out. Thanks for your input. "

" You probably delivered, but I had a d&c and the continued bleeding turned out to be some remaining tissue. I am going today for a repeat d&c. She said it's not unusual in normal deliveries either, so you might wanna call and talk to your doc and make sure something isn't wrong. I'm glad I got over my fear of going in and did. Hopefully this will fix it and get things back to normal for me. Good luck. "

" wow...I just wanted to say I am sorry for your loss! Do you mind me asking what happened at 23 weeks along??? I am so sorry about that. I had a D&C one week ago today and have barely bled at all. went to the doctor yesterday and he said light spotting is normal. If I were you I would call the doctor....better to be safe then sorry...
