When can you have sex after a D & C? The nurse told me to wait until my appointment with my doctor which is in 4 weeks. I had my D & C 2 weeks ago. I know my doctor doesn't want me to get pregnant until one cycle but can I have sex???

I think my doctor also said no penetration of any sort for several weeks. I would talk to your dr. before having any intercourse. I know it sucks.

My doctor said nothing in the vagina for one week. I had sex one week later and everything was perfectly fine. I don't know if it has something to do with what your health is and/or just depends on the doctor. My body is getting back on track just fine so far, too.
