I have never had to have 3 in a month. I had two in a 4 month period and with the second one, my doctor only went in took out what needed to be removed. She didn't scrape or anything as to keep the scar tissue to a minimum. I just wanted to wish you the best. It must be very difficult.

With my miscarriage I had to have three d&c's. I have them over a two month time. I had plecenta acredia. So on the last won she finally got all of it out. It has only been one month trying so i'm not sure about scarring. My dr. took her time so she didn't have to take everything out. I did lose at lot of blood the last time and had to have two units of blood. But i'm doing ok now and trying again.

Thank you for your reply. When (and I'm using that word on purpose)you are successful at conceiving I'd really like to know. I am having to wait for 6 months or long to ttc again, but I'm concerned about scar tissue.

I've had 3 d&c's in the past 11 months, one for each of my m/c's. Two of those losses/surgeries were only four months apart. I was also very worried about scarring. After those two close together, I had a scope of my uterus to check before ttc again: the scope results were normal and I did conceive the first month I tried. I hope to have similar results after I heal from my most recent surgery (not quite 3 weeks ago). Since you are waiting to ttc already, why not see a specialist and ask for a scope (I think the technical term is hysteroscopy) in the meantime?
