Hi everyone. I've been very frustrated lately with trying to find people to talk with in person...mainly people who won't look at me like there's now something wrong with me, or treating me like I'm no longer "normal". I've also had trouble finding people who will talk openly with me about my loss, instead they get that look, like "oh no, not this again". I'm just wondering if there's anyone here from the Pgh area who would be interested in starting a group...not necessarily a "support" group, just a group where we can be treated like normal people, not like we have the plague.

My hometown is Pgh (North Hills), but I live near Dallas, TX.
I think what you describe is unfortunately very common, as I've gotten the same look as well. Wish we could meet at Eat N Park, and have some grilled sticky buns. Take care.
