I keep having dreams that the D&C did remove the baby that had died, but the retained part that I had was actually a twin that survived, and we didn't know about it because it was hidden behind the other one. Then it showed up on my follow up u/s, the one to check for anything leftover, and we were all happy b/c I was still pregnant. Stupid, I know, lol.
