Advice:
How do I deal with a dream?

I have a dream that I've tried to ignore, tried to push away, tried to fight, but it just doesn't work. It started right after the miscarriage and it would subside for a while, but now it's back full force and even hitting when I'm not asleep. I just want to stop seeing it!!! It hurts my heart every single time. Have any of you dealt with dreams/nightmares about this?? I just feel a bit stuck.

" After I lost Angel I would dream that I saw her little hands reaching out for me and I would hear a voice saying, "Momma, where are you?" Because the morning I lost her as I held her in my hand I saw her little hands and I could not get that image out of my head. I doubt if I ever will. "

" I am still having that, I didn't believe that the baby had died (the one I just lost) so the ob turned the screen around and said here I want you to see what I see so that you will understand that I am telling you the truth and all I keep seeing is his little body just laying there inside me no heart beat or anything, I also have the same thing with my daughter right after I lost the most recent baby I was standing in the closet sorting stuff and all of a sudden I remembered my family loading her casket into the hearse and it driving away so I can relate. I have just done my best to deal with them and haven't really found any other way?! "

" I had nightmares for 7 months after my m/c. They were terrible and seemed so real. What I started doing was before I went to bed I would call one of my friends and tell the nightmare to her from beginning to end. This helped me greatly and the nightmares stopped after only talking to her twice. Another thing I do is while lying in bed I think of happier things. I think of how Morgan is in a better place now and how I know that she is watching over me. I hope this helps you. Feel free to message me at anytime. Hang in there hon! My thoughts and prayers are with you! "

" Hey I too have had nightmares and even in the day they come up. I just started praying and I have a bible verse that helped alot. They would make me feel hopeless, tired and unsure of myself and they would take over. I started writing positive things down and reading positive bible verses, like the verse Jeremiah 29:11 "for I know the plans I have for you plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a futur" another one that helped me was Psalms 139:16 people tell me that it was not God's timing for me to have this baby but this verse tells otherwise it tells me that God was taking care of my baby and even though it did not surrvive her life is still written in the book of life, and that she is in a better place now. these things helped me tremendously! I hope these help...feel free to contact me any time! praying for you!!! "
