How long is your vision blurred?

Hi, I'm new to this group. Just had my first migraine in six years last night. I haven't vomited since 1991, and I did multiple times last night.
Do any of you have flu like symptoms with your migraines? Diarreaha, vomiting, chills, fever? The worst part is my vision is blurry in my right eye now today. How long can THAT last? I took off work 2day, and really shouldn't have but I have NO energy and literally can't see straight. Just looking for support and info. I don't know much about migraines-but man did that scare me last night! I also have chronic TMJ problems and was wondering if that could be linked to migraine. Any thoughts would be highly appreciated. I feel for all of you that have these horrible head vise headaches!!! I cannot even call them headaches, more like a bomb going off in your brain. Thanks in advance!

" Welcome to the group!! This is a really great group of people here. I'm sorry about your migraine. I started having them in 2002, was having about 3 a week for a while, but now I average about 1 every 6-8 weeks, but usually I get the severe ones, which involves alot of vomiting, which causes alot of other problems, as I am a diabetic and take blood pressure meds. Mine are always on the left side , and sometimes, I feel like I have a bad film of something over my left eye, it kinda waters, and it usually lasts until the migraine eases up.
I know what you mean about a bomb going off. It's terrible!! I hope you feel better. Take care, God Bless You!!! Lori "
