I have had a migraine now for 2 days- and I am sick on top of it. I have taken the imitrex shot 2 times today - each time, there is a little bit of medication left on the needle - and i leave it in there for as long as you are supposed to - my hubby even timed it. It also leaves me with the chills- is this normal? Also my cvs is out of the imitrex pills - and i have just had a horrible 2 days... the good thing is - I got plenty of sleep actually....which is a first in 3 months... sigh... anyone else have this problem?

" Call another CVS! They should have your information in their computer system and be able to fill your prescripion w/o trouble, unless they are out of everything too. "

" I should of thought of that- ( calling cvs) but I was just too sick at the time and not thinking very straight. My hubby went to pick up the meds and so I was not there. It finally went away - but I still feel nauseu at times and I am in the bathroom consently. Thanks for all the advice :) "

" Imitrex hypes me up, but it's the only thing that works other than high-powered narcotics or Fioricet which I try to avoid unless absolutely necessary. I have to do the injections; the pills or nasal spray don't work for me. How strange is that?

" I would imagine they load the injection with such an amount that it's normal to have left in the syringe. Don't worry. Do you also have some sort of pain med on hand for break through pain? If not, you might want to ask your doctor to call you in something. Good luck. "
