" I work with children, (I am a teacher), so I can't escape.
That's why I keep a bottle of pills with me that make me feel good and happy, (vicodin, xanax, muscle relaxers, etc.)
But, now I am getting rebound headaches.

What can I do?
I admitted it to my Neurologist today. he's not happy, and wants me to wean myself.
But it's impossible to work with 8 year olds when you have a Migraine....... "

" I am in an office with floresent lights and lots of people constantly talking, so there is no where that I can escape to. It is a 20 min walk to my car outside in the heat so I'm sicker by the time I reach the car. "

" Angee, I used to be a teacher. Now I'm training to be a massage therapist. It's so much more quiet and calm and no bright lights. Good luck to you! "

" If I have one, I have no choice but to go to my bedroom in the dark with an icepack and sleeping pills. This is the only way I can stand it. I simply can't function when one hits "

" I hide in bed, my husband makes the bedroom as dark as he can for me, makes sure i have what i need, caffeine, excedrin, or what ever, and makes sure i eat something little with it, also ICE on my head and back of my neck. The wellness cool patches work well too but nothing as good as ice. "

" I am disabled so I crawl into bed. Everyone mentions ice but for me heat works best. I don't like the cold. I simply fill a water bottle about 2/3 and take the air out so it will contour my neck and just try to lay on it. I try to catch them before they get to the point that any touching or movement effects the pain. If that happens, I know it is too late for me. "

" When I was working, I would find a dark room and hide in there. Now it's off to bed with the covers over my head. If it's really bad, I put on the blinders and the ear plugs. "
