Hello
I am 21 and recent my face mostly cheeks cheekbone area and lips started going numb I went to the doctor and he said it was this type of migrains the only thing is I hardly get headache pains does anyone else have this with little or no headache pain He mentioned a medication for it but the pills are rather expensive I just wanted to know that I am not alone because at some moments its scary Sometimes it seems to move down near my jaw area and it feels like my jaw just wants to lock up if there are others with these problems and could talk a bout them it would make it easier to deal with and maybe not such a scary situtation to deal with espeically when you feel all alone with something like this Thanks Posted on 08/16/08, 11:08 am |

When I get a migraine, sometimes the left side of my head and face will tingle BUT my head is hurting really bad. Maybe somebody else can give you more information than me, just wanted you to know I care!! I hope you find some answers soon. Lori

I had visual changes with the tingling lips and tongue one day that landed me in the emergency room because I couldn't see at work. I didn't feel any pain, but I was diagnosed with a migraine. I will often get that tingling sensation and some visual changes. Now that I know that it is a migraine, it's a little less scary. I was suprised to learn that you can have a migraine without pain.

I'll get numbness of the face. Sometimes my right hand and right leg go numb as well, or I lose fine motor coordination.

The pain came yesterday my face went numb couple days ago and yesterday I had a headache that just wouldnt go away all day now just for the numbness to go away :) will make my week much better

You could check into the information about hemiplegic migraines.... alot of their symptoms includes numbness, but they also have other symptoms, so you would need to check it out. Consider finding out if the drug company that creates the medicine has a program that will help you get the medicine... more and more companies do that, for a reduced fee or even free.
