I just got my tens ( Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation )unit for cronic pain due to nerve tumors but wen attching the elctrodes to the back of the neck it really helps with migrains. was only around 50$ with a perscripion some can be spendy for fancyier ones but this one works good.

Used this for the first time on a migrain.It helped ease the pain as my meds kicked in.Didn't do much for the nausa but the 2 electrode on back of neck really did improve pain at least for this migrain.
I stumbled with the placement of pads at first but got some help on how to place them from er tech now works great I can adjust puse up and dow rate or puse and width of pulse.For more money I could get on that has heat and cold as well and could program it for length of time and make it follow a certin pattern fast to slow hot and cold 10 min pause 20 min no pause ect and electords last about 5 uses each and them need to be replaced ( around 9 $ for 4 )Got it for by other pain but it can work for my migains too :) or at least help a little

you are welcome :). I only knew of it because my grandmother used to use one because of her NF.I was just supprised that it helps with migrain pain.Even, if it dosen't make the other symtoms go away.I have had about 60 - 80 % relief in pain with it.dosen't seem like much on paper but ,it's a godsend when you are in the middle of a migrain.
