" I'm not sure what symptoms other people get but this sounds like more than a migraine. I would get checked out by a doctor right away, since, to me, that sounds more like a stroke.

Migraines can be very bad and debilitating. Headache on one or both sides of the head (or front and back), nausea, vomitting, light and sound over-sensitivity, seeing blank spots or auras. Those are some of the things I get. I hope everything turns out to be ok, but I would definately get checked by a doctor ASAP. "

" I would go to a neurologist ASAP, I realize this post is older... but if you haven't already done so, I'd definately go in and get it checked out. I'm a stroke patient and you DON'T want to ignore what could be your warning signs "

" Pour moi....I'm a human barometer and my migraines come with the onset of a storm or rain. It usually picks one side of my head and into one of my eyes. I wake up every single day with a headache but have just gotten used to it...it has been over 20 years of headaches everyday :0(

Then the migraine starts pounding away, like a japanese kettle drummer and it hurts like the 5hit5 !! "

" There are different types of migraines however I have not heard of your type of presentation exactly. Have you had your symptoms checked with a neurologist to be sure? I think it could be an atypical migraine but the neurologist would definitely know "
