" I believe a flickering eyelid is a sign of stress. Slight numbness of the face would be a symptom of a migraine. I would be more concerned about the numbness, though it could simply be a side effect. Have you ever had a CT or MRI? If not, talk to your doctor about it. Either might show a cause for migraine and/or numbness. "

" I experience both of those things, but I'm not sure they are always migraine related as I also have seizures. I agree with WanderingVet. It would be wise to talk with your doctor about this. "

" This is called migraine variant. It is a variation and a shift of migraines and you do not have to have a headache when it happens. It can also be occipital neuralgia. It can be very serious and can cause seizure like effects(silent seizure) and can be debilitating. You need to see a neurologist to be sure. But you need to do it now. They put me on cymbalta and neurontin but you know how everyone is different with meds. I hope this helps and if you need any other info let me know. The neuro I saw was one of the top 5 in the country and this is what he told me. "

" Sometimes one of my eyelids will open up and I can't close it. It's the weirdest thing. Has anyone ever had that or even know what it is? It's like some sort of weird spasm and it's always just one eye. Ususally it's just before the visual symptoms start and then the headache. It doesn't happen with each one.
I've also had facial numbness and also weakness of one hand. "
