I met with my neurologist today and had a rather good appointment:)
I left with my lab slip to go get blood work due to the fact that I take tegretol for my trigeminal neurlagia. I was reading the lab slip and underneath "diagnosis" - it said: Trigeminal Neuralgia Migraine TMJ disorder Cervicocranial Syndrome Does anyone know what cervicocranial synrome is?? This is the first time I have heard that term used with me? Is it just one of those catch all diagnosis for "FACE PAIN"? Just curious if anyone has a clue- thanks:) Posted on 06/04/08, 03:06 pm |

I don't know anythng about cervicocranial but I know about Trigeminal Neuralgia. My neurologist recommended B12. I had been taking a B-Complex so I added sublingual B12, at relatively high doses, and it was gone in 5 days. I pop a daily dose under my tongue and it hasn't been back. Score one for the Non-pharmaceutical team!

I have been taking tegretol for months now- it works really well for me. I have a great neurologist and so far, I am happy with my med regime.
I will ask about the B12 thing, very interesting:) Jill
