can you help me identify a medicine used in the ER

I went to the ER a few nights ago after suffering with a migraine for 4 days.I live in Ohio where they are trying to reduce the amount of narcotics used.I was given a medication that all I can remember were a bunch of letters. It was something like RGB or RHB or something similiar,(sorry I can't remember because of the migraine) after I went home my stomache and all of the muscles in my body cramped and I had spasms like never before.
If anyone could tell me what drug they gave me I would love to know so I can put on my NEVER AGAIN list.
Thank you and I hope and pray that all of you have a better week than I have had.Peace Lisa

" Sounds like DHE might be a possibility, however...the dystonic reaction you may have had is often a reaction to medications like Compazine and Reglan used to reduce nausea.

You are allowed access to your medical records. I would suggest going to the hospital and requesting a copy of what happened during your visit. "

" I was given DHE-45 along with Reglan (Reglan to help with nausea) when I was in the hospital. Allot of people in this group seem to have stomache cramps as a side effect to Reglan.

Have you tried calling the ER you went to & asked for a copy of your papers from your stay. This way it should tell you what meds you were given. "

" I would guess DHE as well. Was it IV? IV DHE is a bitch and will make you feel like total crap all over.

I just spent 4 days in the hospital getting a course of 8 DHE treatments (Intramuscular) to reset my symptom and help me get off pain meds. It's a helpful drug, but it's nasty. "
