Hi, I am starting to get a migraine, and am wondering if anyone knows how to stop it at the start, or any ways of making it not so bad. Thanks!

There are different abortive medications you can get prescribed by your doctor.
As for what you can do without seeing your doctor... You can take 800mg of ibuprofen as soon as it starts and go into a dark room with all the lights and sound off as soon as it starts. You can try GelStat Migraine, which is feverfew and ginger. Feverfew acts to constrict blood vessels in your head, which can help ease or end a migraine. http://www.gelstat.com You can see if putting a pinch of salt under your tongue helps. You can see if chugging down a bit of Epsom Salt works. You can try Excedrin (which is the same as Excedrin Migraine and Excedrin Extra Strength). This contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin, and Caffeine. Yeah celtic, isn't it funny how they try to market exedrine migraine so that they can pull people in? If you read the ingrediants, it has the same crap in it that regular exedrine has. Finally someone else that is aware of this =)
