" My experience with hospital acquired MRSA was systemic (in the bloodstream), not lesions one could see externally. It attacks the major organs - heart attack, pneumonia, etc. The antibiotics necessary for treatment are extremely harsh on the heart, kidneys, etc. It's often fatal. You're definitely in isolation because it's so contagious and so very dangerous. I certainly didn't want anyone coming around me until I passed several blood and nasal tests afterward. "
