How long do you have MRSA?

It seems like from what I have read that no matter what people do it still comes back once you have it. Does anybody know if it goes away? I was recently told I have MRSA and I'm doing everything the Doctors told me to do but, I'm scared I have 3 young children and a husband and I don't want to give it to any of them. Any advice is appreciated.

" Just be careful. If you're like me, you're a carrier. I will always worry about MRSA. Watch for open sores and new cuts. Take care of them as soon as you can. I had 4 bouts of MRSA in an 8 week period before I got rid of it. While I had it, I was told the only way to spread it was by open sore contact to open sore contact. Again, just be careful. "

" Hi,

Many say that once you have MRSA you will always have it. I don't think that this is necessarily true because the MRSA attack my family dealt with stopped after we used stable Allicin and we have not had a recurrence in over two years.

I tend to view colonization as the bacteria being able to organize on the body. MRSA is everywhere now and we will come into contact everywhere we are.
Extra cleaning is not a bad idea, however this is only a part of combating super bacteria.
The real problem is using antibiotics or drugs that encourage mutation of bacteria to become resistant.
We have other opitions and as we combine our knowledge and experiences we can learn from each other and help each other to survive this era.
Take care,
Cathy "
