hello im am so thankful I found this board. I first had a small place on my leg which came back for mrsa I was given rifampin and doxycycline,which I also take a beta blocker and a anti anxiety drug which I have for 12 yrs.anywayI took the 2 antibotics for 3 days I was sooooo sick flu like symptoms ,tummy ache,headache I felt like I hadnt taken my herat and anxiety pills , so I go to the Hosp. while I was there I had my very fist gran mal seizure(dont know why) well I quit taken the pills it went away. then I went to tanning bed a week later the day after I seen 2 small pimples ,so I put neosporyin on them the next day It came to a head but it too is mrsa. but im scared to take the anti. anyone had a seizure from meds? i dont know if mrsa made that sick while on the pills or not ,i have it now and dont feeel that way and im not on anything. PLEASE ANY ADVICE IM SCARED PANICKED AND DONT WANT TO GIVE IT TO MY SON thank you so much

" You might ask your doctor about a stay in the hospital to treat the MRSA. I had 4 bouts of it about 2 years a go and had to stay in the hospital for intravenous antibiotic treatments to get rid of it. Just be careful with your son and don't allow the MRSA areas to touch him. Ask your doctor for more advice. "
