MRSA reoccurences

I had an extremely bad case of MRSA, covering my entire abdomen about a month ago, I healed up, and was doing much better for about two weeks. Then I developed another boil on my stomach, I drained it, and washed it with hibiclens. It actually healed up a lot faster than any of the ones in my first occurence. Then 2 days ago, I developed 2 more boils on my stomach...why do I keep getting this? I just don't get it! My doctor says that there is no way of determining if you are a carrier or not, unless you keep getting it. Is that true? I also feel really discouraged because he gave me refills on my antibiotics from last time, and just suggested that I call it in to the pharmacy if I get another outbreak...not too reassuring...Does anyone have any other suggestions as to how or why I am getting this again?

" Hello JWren
You need to find a good disease specialist. With MRSA you CAN NOT take the same meds twice. It is a very smart infection once it has been hit with a drug it recognizes it the next time. As far as knowing if you are a carrier or not, go to a disease specialist and have him or her check your nose for mrsa. I am currently seeing a specialist and he has been very informative to me. I wish now that I did not trust my primary care dr for so long. I am sorry to be the one to tell you this but if you have taken the same meds again, you will get this again. Please go right away and find a disease specialist. "
