hi, i am a new member, and i noticed you message about being pregnent,
and i like to know what mrsa ca means also i had mrsa three years ago. since at the time, i beleive i was able to live with it, because of my amune system. i got diagnosed seeing a nose doctor, seeing it in my nose. he treated me with a at home pickline, . but his carelessness, my body wasnt accepting the tube in my arm. and the mrsa spread all over my blood and develope a blood clot. my complaint he told me was normal and the line should have not been in longer then 8 weeks, but it ended up almst 3 months. my husband was watching me getting worse and the increase of fevers, that were increase, becasue i could fight the mrsa, my husband talk to a dr at northwesten hopsital, and if the day i was sent to emergency , i probably would be here. im well today, i have no mrsa in my blood and dont get fevers , any more, and my body is living with it and able to fight it, my question, i want to get pregnant and im scared, becasue of the birth, and i want to have a dr, that is well informed, that i dont spread mrs into the blood ar develope a blood clot

CA-MRSA stands for community acquired MRSA. In short it means that it was picked up outside a hospital setting. (If you pick up MRSA in the hospital, it is HA-MRSA or hospital Acquired MRSA.) Hope this helps.

I am very curious about pregnancy with ca-mrsa myself. I was diagnosed with camrsa in december 06....I haven't had an outbreak since 7/07. I went to my obgyn and also my i.d. dr. who both told me mrsa would not effect pregnancy and that i wouldn't have to worry unless I would have to have a c-section and then it could present a problem.
I have been trying to get pregnant for about 8 months now. I did conceive but had a miscarriage in february. The thought that the mrsa could have something to do with it despite what the docs. said

Not a problem. You can take Dr. Ohhira's probiotics 12 plus. The TH10 bacteria in the product is proven to kill the super bugs. (MRSA, H. pilori etc..)
Pregnant women should take Dr. O's two weeks before they give birth (at a minimum) so they can build and develop their own inherent bacteria. When the baby passes through the vaginal canal is when it receives its good bacteria that it is supposed to build upon. If you have a C section the baby gets none of this. Fortunately, you can give a 3 day old Dr. O's, to help them build their own good bacteria. This helps prevent colic, cradle cap and thrush. Not to mention a healthy digestion system. Check out the EssentialFormulas.com website. There is over 40 years of research on probiotics. Dr. O's probiotic is used as a protocol, before and after surgery, in Japan, to prevent staph infection. In 10 years they have almost eradicated ha-staph. It is safe, effective and vital to anyone's health, to build their own good bacteria. I take 2 a day (on empty stomach) and have developed better digestion and balanced my hormones. IT WORKS!!!
