Hi,
i was diagnosed with MRSA from a culture and it seems to always flare up in different locations but looks similar to where the culture was done. I get several small red bite looking bumps anywhere in my groin area and in inner buttocks. They itch and i try not to bother them to make them go away sooner. i am taking doxycycline and i have some hibiclense that i bath with when i feel itchy. This has been flaring up quite a bit lately. Is this normal? Can MRSA still be life threatening even if i have had it for a few months now or will my body be able to fight it off all the time now? Could genital herpes and MRSA look similar as fas as outbreaks?

" Hi BMW,

MRSA is unpredictable and can flare up frequently esp if your immune system is low.
MRSA can be life threatening and if you think that your boils or wounds are rapidly getting worse then don't hesitate to go to ER.
MRSA manifests in many different way and can look like a lesion or bumps filled with water similar to large blisters.
I hope this helps.
Let us know how your doing,
God bless, Cathy

" Here are some good supplements to build your immune system:
Colloidal Silver
I like the 30ppm at lifesilver.com
GSE
Dr. ohhira's probiotics
chlorella and other green superfoods
10-20g of Vit. C with bioflavinoids to bowel tolerance.
Please run all natural supplements you use by your doctor when using antibiotics. "
