Most people that use drugs have found ways to get it out of their system quickly.There is all types of ways. My guess is your son knows that you will be giving him a drug (urine test) and knew when you were giving it to him. Let it go for awhile and then when you suspect him, surprise him with a test. Don't wait until the "crash" time, do the test when he's wired. Urine tests only show meth use within 3 days. Blood test and hair folicle tests are more accurate for determining substance abuse.

No he was arrested because we called the police. he was being loud and we were not going to tolerate it. this is the first time we have ever called the police. It was a threat that we followed through with. The test was neg.I might add we are not dealing with a minor here. He is an Adult (age wise)He denies using meth. I am confused and because he will not check into a rehab ,my hands are tied.He has been drinking alcohol for the last 16 monthes . He admitted to using Meth one time. I do not think that is the truth. I am not stupid no one can stay awake for Two days and drink and not be using something. Thank you for responding D

Meth goes through the system very fast. Longest I ever heard it was still there was a week. But it probably takes a few days to get out of a system.

The quality of all tests makes all the difference in the world. OTC tests and on the spot police tests are very lousy.

Blood test are great, and hair tests are the best, but costly. It is a possability that your son took some pharmacital drug like Adderal, Ritalin, or plain cross tops.

But there is also the possibility that he is Bipolar and you don't even know it yet. Either way the truth will show itself. If he is Bipolar when he is manic he won't sleep much if any too.
