There is an 12 step group called Pharm Anonymous. It is for those addicts that do exactly what you are talking about. There may be some fraud involved but I am not sure.
You can just call the pharmacies and tell them what you said here, giving them their name and address.
Do this slyly because they are going to get very angry when they cold turkey.

i don't think there's anything at all illegal going on here. the perscriptions are legally written, and the drugs are legally obstained in their name.
i wouldn't be concerned with people doing that. really it's not your business. these people will be in a bad condition if they quit all those pills, though. so if you know them, i'd try to convince them to quit.

Oh number if you only knew how much it is her bussiness and yes it is very illegal.
If it wasn't they would not be using many differnt DR.'s and Pharmacy's.
A small childs life is at steak here and when it comes to narcitics there are laws that apply.

Dr shopping is what it's called and he is a felony... state as well as federal. The do NOT need that many pills and they ARE endangering their lives AND the lives of those around them. The only way I could NOT find fault is if they were supplying me too (lol).

For one person to go to differant Drs. with the same element and obtain narcotics is illegal ,its called doc shopping and can be called obtaining a controlled substance by fraud which is a 2nd degree felony 2-20 yrs and it also red flags a persons name at the state and federal level with pharmacies and Drs. .If you go to a differant Dr.with a differant ailment at each Dr. then its legal but once the pharmacies catch on they will red flag you and make things hard on you.As for turning them in to the law I think that would be wrong but to confront them with concern would be right and if that dosent work time will catch up with them and they will get the help they need one way or another.Deral

One day the dr's will catch on probably, it is called addiction. If anything the dr's might get in a bit of trouble especially if someone overdoses, I know out here a couple dr's got busted for similar stuff.

hi jordandrake, my name is leah and i am an ex addict, what you are describing is what my husband and i used to do all the time. We did it because we had a problem we were addicted to pills. I don't think it's right for you to turn them in for it, because i don't mean to sound rude unless you are there family it is none of your buisness. but even so since there is a child involved andif you are a friend or whatever and are concerned for there safety and the safety of the child, you need to confront them and let them know that what they are doing is worng, and that they need help not only for themselves but for there child. The reason i am saying that it;s better to confront them then to turn them is because, what happens if they lose there child because of you, and the child gets put into foster care and gets abused all because you thought you were doing the right thing. sometimes doing the right thing isn't always what we want to do, but it is for the best interest. even though the childs parents have aproblem, she still needs her parents. as for the callig the doctors and telling on them you can try it if you want but it's not going to change anything, i have had people do it to me and i have done it to others and everytime the doctors say the same thing, unless the doctors see you abusing them or whatnot they won't listen to what anyone else has to say.Did you ever think thaqt maybe they are not taking the pills maybe they are selling them. I know this is definetly not better but it's just a though.

If you are on methdone you are still an addict and it's not a good thing to tell newcomers that come in here you are doing a diservice to them.
