BUT I DIDNT!!!
I totally got this over whelming urge to get high today. I could taste it and smell this smell in my nose that i always use to get staying up for days at a time. I totally wanted to get high today and even had all the thoughts go through my head such as: hmmm, do I have enough money to get a quarter? Hmmm tomorrow is my friday I could get away with it? Hmmm wonder if dude is home? I totally drove around after work, as I have 1 hr before I have to go get baby from daycare, having mind wars. Then I thought NO WAY maybe I will just go to the casino and play 5$ and get a red beer. NOPE Didn't do that either. So I went and got the baby from daycare and came home and CLEANED THE SHIT out of my house and totally sweated out that jones. Now I feel really really good about myself and am pleasantly at ease. Hi everyone, I just joined this group. I am looking for support. I was a meth user for 2yrs. It started out as a week-end habit,but was slowly turning into almost everyday.First off I loved the feeling that it gave me.Second it gave me confidence that I otherwise did not have.Last of all it made me feel worth something. I have been quit cold turkey now for 2yrs.There have recently been things happening in my life that have made me want to use again. I don't know how to control these urges that I am having.It is so hard to resist. i just need some support right now.
