I am the 'functioning' closet addict- I have only admitted to a couple of people I have even used.. it felt very very strange saying the things I said tonight..
I have 5, 6 months off meth. Think about it every day. Try to find it. Feind. The whole nine. Well I am taking a trip back home where meth is available in every neighborhood. I told my road trip partner I was so excited to get high again- and was buying a quarter ounce so I wouldnt run out when I came home. I called the friend Im visiting in Florida and told them NOT to get me any. Felt strange saying it. Said I knew I "wouldnt behave any differently or even show signs of anything abnormal".. I'm only saying this because I dont want to go through worse cravings than now when I do run out. I know, I know, still denying and rationalizing. This was big for me though, scary strange and new. Im just proud. It feels kinda good in an odd way. Thanks for reading- just wanted to share with the people that I feel free to express freely about my secrets with. Thanks. You should be very proud! It is a great achievement! The reason why I moved out of my home town was to get away from the dope. However, my mom still lives there. I go back time to time to visit. When I go, I sometimes drive through the old streets and hot spots just to look...my family going "what the hell?". It feels good to to know that I know that it's there, but I don't have to go and get me some. Keep feeling good with staying clean! I wish you strength.

there is few towns I really do not like to visit or pass through because it brings back so many memorys and most of the time I run in to people I use to use with or deal to. Sometimes people act like their happy to see me but then they ask me for drugs. I hate be to still be known as a drug dealer. I just hate it. well Hope you continue to stay away from meth because you deserve better than that for yourself.
