my sanity. my children. i raise two little girls completely on my own- cant afford to even slip a little.

M wife, my kids,my house, my job, my car, my pets, my health, my fear of losing it all.

Deep down the most important would be knowing that I am not dependent on any drug to survive day by day and to be a productive person in society. It is a great feeling to be independent away from the meth. Also important, of course, is taking care of my family, knowing that I am not hurting my family with them worrying about me, and keeping all the nice material things that I have acquired...instead of thinking of how much dope I can get for them, lol. Great question Eddie.

I have two big slashes on my wrist I look at because last time I was on a beinge I attempted suicide and I remember my feelings at that time and it holds me back from it. I went through hell.

It is nice for me to stay clean and sober for all the fancy, nice reasons. But the real reason is for myself. I could never stop using because of love, hope, family, work, or anything else. Except for myself. It is a selfish program.

My bottom was inbetween my ears, that is where I kept my skidrow. That is where my Hell lies.

I got sober for myself. And by doing that one thing for myself I have been blessed to keep a family, house, loved ones and all the other icing on the cake.

If my family decided to use while I am sober I would walk away from them in an instant. God knows this and with the exception of my son, my wife will never use again. As long as I stay clean and sober for today again.

the choice to stay sober... I must stay sober to keep the God of myown understanding so my sanity can still balance the life among the society and be a mom to my kids.

Not drinking or using on a daily basis. Just every morning dedicate my life to staying sober and clean no matter what.
