a hideous evil drug, you know the dr's don't even know the long term affects of use of this drug, It will probably cause premature death in alot of people. I have seen a friend have a heart attack right in front of me from using meth. Meth eats up the body and the mind. Meth destroys you. Meth makes you think you need it. Meth makes you think you are having a good time. METH KILLS PERIOD.

" yes i knew the obvious that is does, like what you see happen to other users in your circle, but im just now learning about what it does to the brain and how long it takes to get back to 'normal' and be happy.. why do we see how devastating this drug is and still want it? i guess thats the evil of it.. " I saw a documentary about meth and the brain and if someone has been using for over two years, it causes brain changes that are irreversable. Most other drugs aren't that bad and the brain can restore itself over time.... but meth destroys the brain... it is so sad. But if you think about it, that stuff is made from toxic chemicals, why would we expect it not to eat away at our bodies? And our souls... "

" I am a 52yr. old grandmother and a former meth user.I have been clean for over 2yrs. now. You wouldn't think that a person my age would fall prey to such a foolish thing, but meth does not discriminate.I used to make myself feel good. It gave me a feeling of belonging.I was turning into someone that I did not like. Meth was beginning to control my every thought. All I could do was look forward to my next hit.My boyfriend was also a user.He died a year ago. I'm not going to say that meth killed him,but it did not help.He had heart disease and I think that it did have something to do with it.He had a heart attack while under the effects of a meth high and did not even realize it. He had to have a heart bypass and lived for almost 18 months afterward. He developed diabetes and got a severe infection in his blood stream. He was also a drinker and abused weed.I am just so sorry for what he did to his body, and there wasn't a thing I could do to help him.We both quit cold turkey before he died, but by then the damage was done.I just hope and pray that it has not destroyed my body. " Meth is one of the most dangerous drugs out there because it is not controlled nor made in a controlled enviouroment like the average prescription drug and it is also so bad on the body because it is made up of nothing but acids and household chemicals therefore w/ the bloodstream being a closed capacity and everything going through your body is supposed to be filtered through the liver the meth damages everything it comes in contact with and if you are a shooter or smoker then you are bypassing the liver and hurting your body more but in a nut shell when you do meth you are cutting your life span in half not to mention all of the lost love ones and the lost things so therefore look around and be wise when you cross the street.Deral "

" I just wanted to clear up something. Almost everyone likes to say it's dangerous because it's made with battery acid and liquid plumber, etc, but that's not a valid point because chemical reactions take place that result in something completely different than what you started with. Using meth is not the same as drinking Drano and swallowing lithium ion batteries.

Having to use these makeshift, over-the-counter chemicals is dangerous in the sense that it results in impurities in the final product.

Legal drug manufacturers also use very toxic chemicals to make their drugs. It's all part of the chemistry.

No, I'm not trying to say meth is safe. I know a lot of you would like to jump all over me for saying this, but it's true that just because you use toxic A and toxic B to make C, doesn't mean C is necessarily toxic. Just like when you mix two gases, you can get a liquid...like two hydrogen atoms to one oxygen atom to get water. "
