I have been Drug Free for since Jan. 9, 2005. I ended up in prison due to my drug habit. Upon my release I was told as a condition of my parole I had to attend AA/NA meetings. I have been attending them, but I was recently told that I could attend the online meetings. Can you tell me how to attend them?

Put in the search bar for Daily Strength, "AA/NA, online meetings" and it pulls up others who have talked about this subject and maybe you can find someone who is doing this...also Google AA/NA online meetings and see what you get or go to their site directly and ask that question. Hope this helps...

Nothing beats the meetings that you go too in your home town, to feel a part of society. Especially being in prison I wouldnt recommend online meetings. Get out have some fun.

Dodge there is a site called earth group, and it is an NA site, all you do is go to www.earthgroupna.org and when the site pops up you can see the dates and times that the NA meetings start. and then you can go online and join them, i would recomend this site, i go to face to face meetings but i find when i can't attend them it's just as good to go online, and I actually got my sponsor and everything through this site, so go check it out.

I was on home confinement when I first got out of jail, so I went to a site called recoverychat.com and found support and online meetings. It has been a great TOOL, but doesn't substitute for face to face meetings. Get a sponsor, work the steps and find the life you deserve, one day at a time. I have met some of the people that I have gotten to know online and have had positive experiences. I know that it is easier to attend online meetings, but you NEED face to face meetings... ask anyone that attends online meetings. Good luck!!
