After joining this discussion board, I checked out all it's members. The majority of them have not posted in months. Many of them never made any friends. I can't help but wonder about what they were looking for and didn't find? Do any of you have any ideas? I would like to figure out how to meet new members needs. I strongly believe that we get support by supporting others. I know there are a lot of people out there struggling with meeting the needs of the mentally delayed. It would be nice if we could find common ground that we could start building on.

i dont understand why no one isnt here either. i go through the peoples list and there are a lot of them that have this community listed. when i send a friend request, i never hear from them. i think some may be just to afraid or afraid of being ridiculed here. some boards get pretty nasty with the posts. i would love to see more join here so we could support each other, we need it and so do they. i am going to try again today with the peoples list, only this time i will send hugs and a short little message inviting them to the board. hope your day is a good one and the sun shines for you!!

hi donna, this board is friendly, just that no one uses it very much. sure wish they did though, we all need support here and i am sure they do to. will have to go out and recruit some members to join!! love judy
