OK, HERE I GO AGIAN COMPLAINING!!! I HAD MY PERIOD THE 13 OF SEPT WHICH LASTED ABOUT 7 DAYS. NOW I STARTED AGAIN THE 28TH, AND HERE IT IS OCT 2. MY BIG COMPLAINT THIS TIME IS THE SPELLS I HAVE HAD. I DONT KNOW IF ANYONE CAN RELATE, BUT IF YOU CAN LET ME KNOW. WE WERE DRIVING UP TO OUR PROPERTY AND WHAM, OUT OF THE BLUE I GET A FEELING LIKE I AM LOSING MY BREATH AND GET REAL DIZZY. IT ONLY LAST A FEW SECONDS. THEN TODAY, (WHICH MY PERIOD I KICKING MY ASS) I AM ON THE COMPUTER AND OUT OF THE BLUE AGAIN, WHAM THE SAME WIERD FEELING, AND AGAIN FOR A SHORT TIME. AFTERWARDS MY HEART STARTS RACING BECAUSE IT SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME. I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I DID PASS OUT ???? I KNOW ITS MY MENO ALONG WITH NERVES. HUBBY IS STILL OUT ON STRIKE, BUT WHATEVER THE REASON IS I SURE DONT WANT IT TO HAPPEN AGAIN. CAN ANYONE RELATE?? THANKS!

" Oh, yes, yes, yes!!! That crap started with me last summer. Thought for sure I was dying from a brain tumor or something. Got checked out and guess what? Yep! Chalk it up to meno and estrogen dips and he also said stress makes it worse and lots of stressors can bring it on.(like your hubby being on strike and you worrying..) He said the heart thing(afer I had an ekg done) is indeed what you said - you're scared!
So, just get checked out again to be sure( you'll be fine, watch)and try to breathe when it happens. Mine are fewer and further between but it still happens; usually with a hot flash. Now my latest problem is....'rhoids!!! Don'tcha just luv it?!

Feel better!! "

" Every month now, I get the wierdest, freakiest dizzy thing. It comes all a sudden. It's not normal dizziness or vertigo. It's like double vision meets a secondary LSD trip! It only lasts a few seconds, and I know what it is, but damn...freaks the shit out me every time!I try top remember to use my cream Progesterone twice day, but call me Mrs. Forgetful! It does help with the PMS, the two periods in a month, the "I think I need a blood tranfusion" days and those "Phantom " periods that give ya everything except the actual period! My periood is suppose to rear it's ugliness in a few days and I'm already feeling the headache, tension, and all over yuk. You're suppose to use a small amount of Progesterone, but tonite I think I'm just gonna devour my entire body in it! The instructions say too much can give you a drunk feelin". We'll see! ha! And to Ladykate, what's up the roids? I got my first little butt pal after the birth of my daughter 28 years ago. Now, my butt pals have grown into a bouguet of, which resembles the inside of a pomagranite! Yes, a disgusting visual!!!!!!! "

" I get these light headed feelings alot also and just like ladykate, I thought for sure that I had a brain tumor. My doc laughed but said let's do a cat scan just to ease your mind. He did and nothing. I have constant headaches which is very annoying and doesn't help with the dizziness. I'm with you and hope you have a great wkend.
Hugs,
Sandi "

" Oh, yes, I get 'em, too. Having epilepsy, I'm more concerned that it's a seizure coming, so what I do is put whatever I'm holding down and sit down somewhere and breathe until it passes. If there's no chair, then lean on a wall. I've gone and sat on people's lawns. When it passes, you get up, and if there's an older woman around, just say "Sorry. I'm going through THE CHANGE," and they'll smile sympathetically and nod and wish you a good day. "

" I get the light headedness all the time, but when I use to get out of breath it was because my periods where so heavy and came so often that I was anemic and I was not getting enough oxygen in my blood to my muscles and my brain. Now I'm post ablation so I don't have the heavy periods but the light headedness I still get. I'm going to try the extra progesterone cream and see if I can get that "buzz" like Sagey was talking about! LOL! "
