Bloat anyone??

Ok ladies I have another question for you all. Does anyone else deal with constant bloat? The kind you get when you have your period. I skipped a month and keep thinking only 11 more to go yipee. I actually walk like pregnant woman with the waddle that it seems to give me. My pants will not shut unless I do the lie on the bed and tug like hell on the zipper thing. I know that this meno thing is suppose to add inches to your middle but constant feeling of swallowing an entire water melon uncut is really starting to tick me off! Thanks ladies you are all so special and am grateful every day to have found each and every one of you. So please comment away. I love to read that I am not the only one on this dingy (Sagey's word)

" You do the countdown too, huh? Me too! But alas, I keep having to start over! And the bloating is all a part of the neat stuff us ladies must endure. I keep hoping, one long pee, one healthy dump, one long ole fart, and I'll fit into those skinny jeans without the zipper getting hung on my overhang! "

" Hi, yes I too am experience major bloat, I have missed 5 months of periods now, and am starting to think that this well become the new shape as its like the days before the period contantly! I have heard that HRT redresses the balance and because it gives you both hormones back again in 'normal' doses that you go back to your 'normal' ebb and flow of bloat, unbloat.... Another reason why I am seriously considering HRT. Hang in there the hot flushes have deminished after 5 months, and although it different for everyone, we must all assume there is an end to it, just as long as its not a big end!
Hugs and energy to you.
Ally "

" Here I am, the Bloat Queen! I get gastrointestinal distress, too, which is horrible.
But the bloating: I think part of it is caused by my trying to relieve my dry mouth (yet another symptom) by drinking a lot of water. I know that trying to fall asleep is hard enough without feeling as though I've swallowed a large water balloon and it's sloshing around in my gut. (If it gets too uncomfortable, I take my blanket and get onto the recliner. Being slightly elevated does help). I akso take Gas Ex, and I try not to eat or drink anything -including taking pills- less than 30 minutes before going to bed.
And somedays, I just waddle around and groan.
Hope you feel better! "
