Yes, especially after sitting in one position for a long time. I feel like an old lady when I get up and really have to stretch.

Especially in the morning when I get up. I think my body gets confused and thinks I died. Feels like rigormortis has begun to set in. I feel like the Tin Man on the Wizard of Oz..."Need oil..."

Yes, not every month, I woke up this morning feeling achey, shoulders, joints, back etc. I took some advil and did my morning walk. Of course our weather here is getting colder and that can bring on more aches etc. I think its more muscular. Menopause can be the cause of a lot of things as our hormones change. Take care and hope you have a wonderful day

These are definitely menopausal symptoms. Muscles respond to hormonal changes by feeling sore and cranky. Sleep loss can make you ache also. I know I drink tons of water because lack of water can cause leg cramps. We need to get plenty of rest, using herbal aids, eating nutritious foods and avoid toxins.
Hope this helps,
Bobbi

Sometimes, at night, when I am sleeping I wake up with these weird body aches. I can't figure out where exactly. It is like my whole body aches. It started happening when I began peri.

Yes. Sometimes I feel like someone's been at me with a baseball bat. One morning I jokingly asked my husband if that's what he'd been doing and he said "Of course not, dear. I always use the hammer."
Anyway, it's part of it. Hot baths sometimes help, but if I can do it financially, I try to go to a Just Massage store and get a massage at least once every month or two. And get plenty of sleep, if you can.
Good luck!

I was just thinking this morning how my body feels like it is breaking down ever since this all thing started. Last year I had so much energy doing my pet sitting and working over time at the office job. Just feeling good!!! Now i can't even imagine doing that again. I may have to go back part time to the office job and it scares me. I barely have energy to get through the day. Not to mention I wish I can wake up and have a day without aches and discomfort. I hope when menopause finally sets in most if not all these crummy feelings disappear.

Hi, Nickle...yes, I feel those aches and pains everyday but I try to just keep it movin'! I think the worst thing we can do is curtail motion.Perhaps we do need oil (have you met Sagey?)LOL!!
We will be on the good side of this sooner than we think cuz I asked God to help us all stay sane and healthy...especially Sagey!!!
