Please try the Evening Primrose Oil as someone else suggested. I know exactly what you are talking about with the extreme discomfort, it really does affect one all over when your breasts are hurting! I also am taking the 3 G of EPO and have found amazing relief.

Yes ... I have started taking Evening Primrose Oil as well, but only 1000mg per day ~ I also take Omega 3 Oil capsules ~ they help your joints and bones, but also help with depression, which is why I take them.

ScorpioBliss, I just began to have the same problem this week! It followed another condition, for which I sought medical treatment, wherein it felt like I was having menstrual cramps. The MD checked and said I had both an overgrowth of bacteria and a slight bladdar infection. I was placed on two antibiotics.

Thereafter, my breasts started feeling sore and enlarged exactly as they did before I stopped menstruating. However, I went through menopause three years ago (age 45)and this is the first time I've had such a symptom.

If it doesn't subside, I plan to return to the MD. In the meantime, let us know how your exam turned out. Take care.

I swear by Vitamin E ladies! I heard about it a few ago and started taking one tab taily. (gel caps actually). No more sore boobies, I swear!

me to and just had to have a mammogram!!! now really sore but every yr they find something first its fibrocystist then its calcifications and had procedures for all of them this yr came back normal at least one part of me is normal but why does it hurt I have to sleep in my bra do you to?

I used to get tender breast also right before my per. I haven't had one since March now but for the past few days they are beyond sore and my nipples hurt when my braw rubs against them. I am thinking maybe the per. is going to come since they are hurting but I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I just want this all to go away.
